About Me



Sarah J Brown was born in 1971 in Warwickshire and lived in Birmingham until her family moved to Cadgwith Cove, Cornwall in the late seventies.


She trained in Fine Art at Falmouth and Birmingham Schools of Art and has worked in advertising, illustration, set & production design and community arts projects, alongside exhibiting her own work, looking after the family fishing business and picking crab!


She works predominantly in  mixed media collage and takes much of her inspiration from the surrounding coastal landscape and her experiences of living in a small fishing village. 


She is married to a fisherman, has two children and lives and works in Cadgwith.

Welcome !


Here is a small collection of my work, some new , some old, to give you an idea of my themes and interests. I will be adding new images and available work to the site frequently.


Most images are also available as signed limited edition Giclée prints and as greeting cards.  The prints are in editions of either 100/150, and are printed with archive quality inks and papers. All come with a signed and numbered certificate.
