Sarah J Brown was born in 1971 in Solihull, Birmingham. She moved with her family to Cadgwith Cove on the Lizard Peninsula in the late 70's. She studied fine art at Falmouth and Birmingham Schools of Art and has worked as an artist ever since. Predominantly working in mixed media and collage, her work reflects her surroundings in Cornwall and her experience of living in a small fishing community. She is married to a fisherman, has two children and lives and works in Cadgwith.
